Blood Flow Restriction Bands

Move 2 Change Blood Flow restriction bands (2 BANDS) are designed for occlusion / Kaatsu training. By using these bands, blood is able to enter the muscle via arterial flow, however the veins are restricted so that blood is partially prevented from leaving the working muscle.

Blood flow restriction also causes a buildup of metabolites, such as lactic acid, that have been shown to directly stimulate muscle growth.

The direct fatigue caused to the muscle forces the nervous system to recruit the largest fast-twitch muscle fibres, which have the greatest capacity to grow.

How to train with your bands

Occlusion training is performed at intensities normally used for a warm-up set, such as 20-30 percent of your one-rep max (1RM).
By training this way, it helps prevent injury by lifting lighter weight and still being able to gain muscle.
The Bands can be used just above the bicep near your armpit or high up on the quad muscle in your legs near your groin.
These bands are NOT SUITABLE FOR LEGS BIGGER THAN 24 INCHES in circumference (around).
