A QWERTY keyboard is the most common type of keyboard layout used in modern computers and smartphones. The name "QWERTY" comes from the first six letters on the top row of the keyboard. This layout was designed to prevent typewriter keys from jamming by placing commonly used letters farther apart. The QWERTY layout has become the standard for English-language keyboards and is widely used around the world. **

A QWERTY keyboard can be purchased at a variety of places, including electronics stores, office supply stores, and online retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Staples. Many computer and laptop manufacturers also sell QWERTY keyboards as standalone accessories. Additionally, specialty keyboard stores and online marketplaces may offer a wider selection of QWERTY keyboards with different features and designs. **

To change from QWERTY to QWERTZ, you would need to change the keyboard layout settings on your device. This can typically be done through the operating system's settings menu. Look for the language and keyboard settings, and then select the QWERTZ layout. On some devices, you may also need to physically replace the keys on the keyboard to match the QWERTZ layout. **

To switch from a QWERTZ keyboard layout to a QWERTY layout, you will need to change the keyboard settings on your device. The QWERTY key combination is the most commonly used layout for keyboards because it was designed to prevent jamming on early typewriters. The layout was created in the 1870s by Christopher Sholes and has since become the standard for keyboards around the world. While there are alternative keyboard layouts available, such as Dvorak or Colemak, the QWERTY layout has remained dominant due to its familiarity and widespread use. **

One can get used to the QWERTY layout through practice and repetition. By consistently using the layout for typing tasks, the fingers will gradually become more familiar with the placement of the keys. Additionally, there are online typing tutorials and games that can help improve typing speed and accuracy on the QWERTY layout. Over time, muscle memory will develop, making it easier to type without looking at the keyboard. **

The QWERTY keyboard became dominant primarily due to its early adoption by the first commercially successful typewriter, the Remington No. 1, in 1874. This layout was designed to prevent jamming of mechanical typewriters by placing commonly used letter pairs farther apart. As typewriters became more popular, the QWERTY layout became standardized, leading to its widespread adoption. Despite the development of more efficient keyboard layouts like Dvorak and Colemak, the QWERTY keyboard's entrenched position in the market and user familiarity have made it difficult for alternative layouts to gain widespread acceptance. **
